Midi Bass
The Industrial Radio Midi Bass is a hybrid bass guitar and MIDI controller able to connect to and control synthesiser and sampler technology via MIDI.
Both bass guitar and MIDI controller, the Industrial Radio Midi Bass gives you the ability to plug into and accurately control hardware and software synths and samplers direct from the bass. Now you can double your natural bass tone with classic, synth bass sounds or trigger any kind of sample or synth sound you can imagine.

Deluxe Midi Bass, 4 string
The Deluxe Midi Bass model provides the Industrial Radio MIDI system on a high-quality bass. Available in several colour/finish options, left-handed model and with the choice of either Nordstrand 'Big Splits' or 'Fat Stacks'.

Standard Midi Bass, 4 string
The Standard Series Midi Bass incorporates exactly the same MIDI tracking system as is used on the Deluxe Midi Bass but in a more affordable package for the working musician. The Standard Midi Bass strikes a balance between quality bass construction, MIDI controller functioanlity and price to offer more bassists the opportunity to experience the awesome capabilities of the Industrial Radio Midi Bass.

Midi Bass System
The Midi Bass system includes the Midi Bass Module and Midi Bass Cable.
Midi Bass Module
The Midi Bass Module eliminates the need for multiple cables coming directly out of the Midi Bass. The Midi Bass Module connects to the bass via a single cable, the Midi Bass cable. The module is of a size that it can be easily fitted into a 1U rack tray.
Midi Bass Cable
The Midi Bass Cable is constructed with a high-quality, flexible, 8-core shielded cable. The 8-pin din plugs are made from nickel plated brass and are of the highest quality, well able to withstand the rigours of the road.
Midi Bass Module Spec
- INPUT - Midi Bass input (8-pin), Midi Bass cable connects here
- SWITCH - 1/4" socket for optional footswitch - allows for sustain and modulation functions to be controlled via footswitch
- LED - Blue power LED that momentarily 'blinks' when "note on" or "patch" MIDI commands are received
- POWER INPUT - 12 Volt AC 500mA power pack is connected here to power the module and Midi Bass
- MIDI OUT - MIDI output connects to MIDI instruments
- MIDI IN - Connects to MIDI foot controller
- AUDIO OUT - Magnetic pick-ups output. The audio is lifted from ground through a quality line audio isolation transformer to give the highest quality output.
